On the huge rocking chair
October 12, 2010 - A few weeks ago, we went to Vala's Pumpkin Patch. It's one of the local favorite fall pastimes! The first time we went was back in 2008 while I was pregnant with Kristian. We came across Darth Vader and his friends that day and we actually got lost in the corn maze!
The kids had a lot of fun there although it was getting dark, but at least the lights were on and all the fun continued! We visited some shops and bought postcards, snacks, and a jar of black raspberry apple spread. We skipped the Haunted houses, but went into the storybook theme village area. Along the way we took pictures in their fall and Halloween displays!

This time, Darth Vader and friends were no where to be found and instead of venturing into the corn maze, towards the end of our visit, we went on a hayrack ride and into a pumpkin patch!
Kristian was busy looking around and staring at the tractor pulling us!
