February 26, 2011 - Sunday, the day after my birthday, we drove back to Lincoln to pick up our home theater receiver. The snow storm was leaving our area, so we decided we had time to visit the University of Nebraska State Museum. Morrill Hall, in which the museum is located, was right at the end of the horseshoe loop and not far from Memorial Stadium. On game days, the stadium holds more people than any Nebraska city except Omaha and Lincoln, a fact that is often used to point out Nebraska's devotion to Husker football.
We had forgotten to bring our memory card with more space, so we were only able to take this one picture with the world's largest exhibited elephant skeleton. We'll come back again soon, but not on a game day!
