March 11, 2014 - Unintentionally, we took a scenic drive around Corpus Christi Bay, a.k.a. the "Beach Loop." For lunch, we left NAS Corpus Christi and passed Laguna Madre over the bridge for Padre Island. Then, we headed north through Mustang Island (where we stopped to help keep Kristianc calm) to Port Aransas.
We had a scrumptious seafood lunch at Irie's Island Food restaurant and soon after, we took the free, 24-hour Port Aransas Ferry to Aransas Pass.
Rockport was next on our list.
Kristian happy with his grilled cheese sandwiches and beignets that came with fresh strawberries!

Chris had a crazy and dragon taco, while Kai ordered shrimp fried rice.
Our tummies were full and very happy!
