Our view from the 3rd floor of the Navy Inn
March 12, 2014 - Kristian and I bought some groceries from the Commissary and did a little shopping at the Navy Exchange before breakfast. Afterwards, we visited downtown Corpus Christi and took a look at the Texas Surf Museum, Texas' only surf museum, and its storefront Surf Club Records. We talked with the owner and found out that she too was a former military (AF) kid.
Kristian woke up from his nap as we were exploring through the galleries.
Kailani walking towards the end of the row.
The Drifter was playing in a movie viewing section and its soundtrack could be heard throughout the store.
After looking through Surf Club Records, we had lunch next door at Executive Surf Club. We then drove down Ocean Drive and stopped to let the kids play at Cole Park. It was such a windy day, we should have brought our kites!

Leaving the park
Despite the strong gusts, we took the kids later in the afternoon to Collier Pool, a heated outdoor year-round pool. Then, off to Thai Cottage for dinner (we had them during our last visit)!
