Native American Project

Kailani's diorama of the Atakapa tribe 

Recently, Kailani had a big project that required her to write a paper and create a diorama about a Native American tribe here in Texas. She chose the Atakapa tribe and it took her about a week to complete the project. It took her several days to research facts, create her rough draft, and then finally to type the final draft. Typing one finger at a time took her quite a little while to finish.

Afterwards, we bought most of the materials for the scene from Hobby Lobby. Several items were from home including a cake board, empty pudding cups, and construction paper which were used to make for the huts.
