Kristian in his new car!

June 25, 2011 - A day after its official release, we decided to take Kristian to the sequel of his favorite movie, Cars! The first showing was right before lunch and he did well for his first movie. He ate popcorn with us and had some fruit punch. Most of the movie kept his attention, but during the last 30 minutes, he was fidgety and began to sit on the steps beside our row. Overall, we think he really enjoyed his first movie experience! 

After we left the theater, we had lunch at McDonald’s. Kristian wasn’t cranky yet, so we even made a trip to Target and we bought Kristian a new car! He was so excited to try it out when we got home that he was giving Chris a hard time assembling the car. Luckily, the car still had enough power to ride although it wasn’t fully charged.

Kristian wanted to show his friend Sakura the new car, so we went to her house. He was kind enough to let her have a ride as well as his sister (although, I had to distract him with some candy)!

  He still needs practice with his steering, but we’re sure he’ll soon get comfortable with his driving skills!
