Stopping for a photo op before leaving Padre Island and buying souvenirs

December 1 - We weren't ready to leave, but our short weekend came to an end. Judging by the 75 degree temperatures, one probably wouldn't have realized that a cold front had just passed and winter is soon on its way. We don't have any fun beach pictures since the water was too cold for swimming and playing. But, we'll make up for that by coming back to Corpus Christi and Padre Island in the summer. The area reminds us very much of home. While it might not be as populated as Virginia Beach, the food, the people, and the beauty of the beaches bring us back to our childhood.
