Sunset in Corpus Christi
November 29 - December 1. Since it was just the four of us again this year for Thanksgiving, we decided to head south to Corpus Christi for a much needed break. As shoppers were participating in Black Friday, we had our sights set on enjoying sunshine, warm temperatures, and beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico.
NAS Corpus Christi, where we stayed in base lodging, gave us good views of the water as well. Saturday morning, the kids and I wanted to try and catch the sunrise, but we were too late. So, they played on the playground instead and we walked across the field to see the water.
