Our house after this weekend's snowfall of nearly another foot!
January 24, 2011 - Saturday afternoon and into early Sunday evening the snowfall we received was close to another foot! Two weeks prior, we had just received about a foot of snow. It took me close to two hours Sunday morning to shovel out the driveway, car, and walkway to the house. I didn't even bother with the sidewalk since I figured it would take close to another hour or so to clear.
Our neighbors beside us borrowed our neighbor across the street's snowblower and cleared our sidewalks. Thanks Quayle family! Chris had been home sick since Thursday with what we think is the flu. He also has a bad back for the past couple of years, so that makes me the lucky snow shoveler most of the time now! I wonder how much more snow we'll get before winter is officially over. Hopefully, this will be the last of the heavy snow!
This is what we received Sunday morning.
The cat wanted to go outside and we almost let her. For some reason, she doesn't understand why we don't let her outside during the winter. She probably just misses warmer weather and lounging in the sunshine outside.
Another view of the snow while Kristian has breakfast.
Looking out the front door before I shoveled. And those aren't icicle lights left over from Christmas. Those are real icicles!
Our Infiniti is covered..
The walkway to the house and our Christmas snowman that's stuck to the ground (its stakes are frozen in the ground).
Our house today as we're pulling into the garage.
Kailani playing with the snow on top of our mini-snow mountain.
Our snow mountain is almost 4 feet tall, slightly taller than Kailani.
The kids posing by the snow mountain.
Kristian watching his sister who wanted to show Kristian around the Starfall website with Trixie sitting with them.
