Train Expo

January 16, 2011 - Today, we went to the Train Expo at the Qwest Center. There were many vendors selling a variety of train sets, Thomas the Train, car models, airplane models, etc. The first thing we did was find the Thomas the Train ride for the kids! It was free for all of the kids and the line was always long. Kristian and Kailani were able to sit in the front passenger car together (it was either Annie or Clarabel). It was interesting to see Kristian get on the ride with no hesitation! Usually, he doesn't want to be far apart from us, but this time being on a Thomas the Train ride with big sister was enough for him to be an independent big boy!!!

Waiting to go..

 On the way back..

 Nearing the end..

 Done with the ride!

Kristian was not ready to get off the train ride! When Chris removed him, he immediately started to whimper and cry. But, we brought him to see more miniature train sets right away to distract him!

Miniature train sets are always very popular among the kids, especially boys.
At the local Early Childhood Center (ECC), you can find Kristian at the Thomas the Train table a majority of the time!

Kristian had a Lionel Train on his shirt!
I'm not sure what Daddy was doing and I didn't catch his face until now! HAHA

Daddy was interested in some toys, too!

This was the result of us trying to leave!
Poor Kristian, he was enjoying himself until it was time to go.
